About

A Healing Space

Hello!

Thank you for exploring my practice! I believe in and base my work on the principle of safe connection. When you feel safe and understood you can access your truest self and the compassion needed to right unresolved issues and mend unhealed wounds that trip us up in everyday life. With the right safe connections you can connect with your healthiest and happiest self.

We each work and heal at our own pace and in our own ways. I work with my clients to help them change unhelpful patterns and find and embrace their unique healing rhythm.

My Professional Experience

I’ve been honored to work with a range of clients with diverse backgrounds impacted by a variety of issues. I began my practice answering crisis hotlines. I then expanded into community and private mental health centers serving children, adolescents, and adults. Most recently, I worked with the Foundations Recovery Network in residential and intensive outpatient settings. My practice focuses on:

  • Substance Use/Addiction
  • Impulsivity (often related to unhealed trauma/attachment wounds)
  • Anger Outbursts
  • Sexual Behavioral Issues
  • Gambling
  • and more…

During the last few years I have worked with the Foundations Recovery Network in residential and intensive outpatient (IOP) settings. This has given me extensive experience working with those struggling with:

  • Substance Use
  • Addiction
  • Working to Maintain Sobriety

…and the underlying thoughts, feelings, and behaviors perpetuating these issues.

My Therapeutic Approach

Therapy works best when it taps into and enhances our own wonderfully developed healing strategies. I work with my clients to further develop their unique healing strategies. So if you’re reading this and thinking, “I know traditional therapy isn’t for me,” GREAT! I have plenty of other tools in my therapeutic toolbox.

I am committed to helping you find the healing you’re seeking. Even if I’m not the therapist for you, I can provide an assessment and connect you with trusted referrals.
